Items Derived From

This section type allows you to show items based on traceability rules.

You select the source items and target items

Options

Effect

Add a reference of included items to table of content

If a table of content section is added to the document and this option is checked, the item references from this section will be added. See Table of Contents for required options.

Show ...

the items
item references: as above but only the item IDs are shown in a list.
as table (source|target)
as tree (source → intermediates → target)

items: this will show all items of the target category which are derived directly or indirectly from the input type.
item references: as above but only the item IDs are shown in a list.
table: shows all the derived items in once column and on the other side all the source items for each target item.
tree: shows the traceability tree from the source to the target.

If items are shown, they can be formatted like in normal item lists.
