In Matrix Requirements you can tag any version in the project. In the enterprise edition you can restore a project including it's history up to such a tag.
To tag a version you can go through the audit log, see Restoring Projects / Branching Projects (in the past) for more info.
You can view tags in the tag tab of the client.
