Sometimes your browser is able to display images because you are logged on to a web site (e.g. a wiki in the intranet). If you copy and paste these images into Matrix they need to be imported into the Matrix database, in order to ensure that they show up in documents - even if the original images are deleted.
If the import fails, Matrix will show a red status bar indicating this and the images will have a red border.
What do do in this case:
- download the image to your computer
- replace the image in Matrix with the one from your local disk.
